Greetings from the Southwest...
  Hello friends and welcome!  Today's card features this fun set from Art Impressions (southwest watercolor) and water coloring using Prima Marketing Watercolor Confections (decadent pies).  To start, I die cut a circle using MFT's radial circle stax out of a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper than stamped images, and white heat embossed.  Next, I watecolored image first using a light wash of water/color, then going back over adding shadows/depth of colors.  I set aside panel to dry then worked on background.  I die cut a stitched rectangle panel (SSS) using a piece of Neenah desert storm then stamped BG stamp (MFT's scribbled circle) onto panel.  To finish, I assembled elements, adhered elements to card base using fun foam for circle panel, stamped sentiment (Mama Elephant labels stamp set) and adhered also using fun foam.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

Things are Looking Up...
  Hello and welcome!  Today's card features this cutie set from Lawn Fawn (Yay!, Kites) and water coloring using Distress Inks (tumbled glass, shaded lilac, and wilted violet).  To start, I watercolored a piece of Distress watercolor paper using above mentioned Inks, going from top to bottom, pulling color towards to bottom.  I set aside panel to dry, then stamped, die cut , and Copic colored images.  I added a coat of glaze from  MFT's to Kite and birds beak.  Next, I stamped then die cut flowers.  To finish, I assembled elements, stamped sentiment, white heat embossed, stamped Kite string, then adhered elements to card base using fun foam to bird and Kite.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

Boo-tiful Bday Wishes...
  Hello friends and welcome!  Today's card features this fun set from Lawn Fawn (Monster Mash), Copic coloring, and water coloring using Distress Inks (picked raspberry, mermaid lagoon, fossilized amber, and black soot).  To start, I watercolored a piece of Distress watercolor paper using above mentioned Inks and (tried) created a "galaxy sky".  I heat set Inks in between each color/layer, then splattered white gouache watercolor to mimic "stars", set aside panel to dry.  Next, I stamped, die cut, and Copic colored images.  I added a coat of Wink of Stella clear and glossy accents to "party hats.  To finish, I stamped sentiment, heat embossed, assembled elements and adhered to card base, and using fun foam to "monsters".  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!  Please note: this card has been submitted to the current Lawn Fawn Fanatics Challenge blog #1.

Desert Messages...
  Hello friends and welcome!! Today's card features this fun set from Art Impressions (southwest watercolor) and watercoloring using Distress Inks.  To start, I inked images using Distress markers then stamping onto a die cut stitched rectangle panel using Canson XL watercolor paper.  I choose not to mask images, hoping to achieve a "loose" watercolor effect.  I stamped the rocks, water colored, then went back in applying Distress markers directly to scene to add the "grass" in between the rocks.  To finish, I stamped sentiment, heat embossed using Ranger tea rose embossing powder, adhered panel to card base, and finally added PrettyPinkPosh rose gold sequins.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

You are a Rare Gem to Me...
  Hello friends and welcome!  Today's card features this adorable stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas (Treasure Trolls) and ink blending using Distress Inks (scattered straw, evergreen bough, peacock feathers, shaded lilac, candied apple, picked raspberry, and dried marigold).  To start, I die cut a circle out of Neenah solar white card stock using MFT's radial circle stax dies.  I then began ink blending Distress Inks, masking each area in a triangle pattern.  Next, I stamped, fussy cut, and Copic colored image.  I then die cut rectangle background panel using MFT's diagonal inside/outside stitched stax dies and then spritzed Perfect Pearls spray in "sunflower".  To finish, I stamped sentiment and heat embossed, assembled elements and adhered to card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

Stuck to You...
   Hello friends and Happy Monday!  Today's card features this fun set from My Favorite Things (Sweet Succulents) and Ink Blending using Distress Inks (cracked pistachio and dried marigold).  To start, I stamped, masked, fussy cut, and Copic colored images.  To add some detail, I used a white gel pen to highlight  these images.  I also added Wink of Stella clear and a coat of glossy accents to "cactuses flowers".  Next, I Ink blended Distress Inks over a MFT's stencil (geometric grid) onto a die cut stitched rectangle Neenah solar white panel.  To finish, I assembled elements, added white floss, stamped and heat embossed sentiment, then finally added enamel dots.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

Lucky To Know You..
  Hello friends and welcome! Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Today's card features this cutie set from Paper Smooches (a magical spring) and ink blending using Distress Inks (lucky clover, peeled paint, and fossilized amber).  To start, I ink blended a stitched rectangle panel using Neenah solar white.  Once ink was blended onto card, I added several water splotches, letting the water set for 30 sec-1minute before drying with a paper towel.  Next, I stamped, die cut, and Copic colored images.  To add a little interest, I applied a coat of Wink of Stella clear and glossy accents to buckle on hat, bow, and shoe buckles, then set aside to dry.  To finish card, I assembled elements, adhered to card base, using fun foam to Luprechan, and stamped sentiment using Versafine Onyx black pigment ink.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

Love Showers...
   Hello friends!! Today's card features this cutie set from SimonSaysStamp (happy days) and Copic coloring.  To start, I die cut a stitched rectangle panel using Neenah solar white cardstock.  I next applied a thin layer of Wendy Vecchi's translucent embossing paste across a SSS "raindrop" stencil, then set panel aside to dry.  Next, I stamped, Copic colored, and fussy cut image.  I added a Wink of Stella clear and coat of glossy accents to "cheeks".  Next, I added a light layer of color to "raindrop" background using SSS sea glass dye ink across top left portion of the panel.  To finish, I die cut thought bubble, stamped sentiment, assembled and adhered elements to card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Octopi My Heart...
   Hello friends and welcome!  Today's card features this cutie set from Lawn Fawn (octopi my heart) and ink blending using Distress Inks (blue print sketch, peacock feathers, and twisted citron).  To start, I stamped bubbles over a trimmed piece Neenah solar white then white heat embossed.  I next ink blended Distress Inks over the embossed area, first blending lightly then going over to intensify the colors.  Next, I stamped, die cut, and Copic colored image. Making Me Smile...
  Hello friends and welcome!  Today's card features this fun BG stamp from Hero Arts and watercoloring using Derwent Ink Intense pencils.  To start, I stamped BG onto a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black pigment ink then heat embossed using Hero Arts clear embossing powder.  I then colored each image using pencils then went back over each image with a damp brush.  I then set aside panel to dry and die cut circle and "smile" die (SSS).  I created a shaker window using various sequins from SimonSaysStamp and PrettyPinkPosh.  I next stamped the first part of sentiment (SSS wishing and sending stamp set) using Versamark ink then white heat embossed.  To finish, I assembled elements and adhered to card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

Legendary Kraken...
   Hello and welcome!  Today's card features this fun stamp set from Lawn Fawn (loveable legends) and watercoloring using Distress Inks (chipped sapphire, blue jeans, salty ocean; antique linen, scattered straw, dried marigold).  To start, I stamped and white heat embossed "wave" onto a piece of Distress watercolor paper.  I next, watercolored "ocean" and "sky" using a light wash of water/color, then going back over to add color and mix.  I then added water droplets to "ocean" to add a little bit of interest.  Next, I stamped, die cut, and Copic colored images; adding a white gel pen to "kraken" and glossy accents to "sails".  To finish, I stamped "bubbles" and sentiment then white heat embossed, assembled and adhered elements to card base, using fun foam for images.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

Pretty and Amazing...
   Hello and welcome!  Today's card features this fun die word/sentiment stamp set from Avery Elle (simply said) and watercoloring using Distress Inks (mustard seed, picked raspberry, peacock feathers, and black soot).  To begin, I watercolored a piece of Distress watercolor paper...first using the bright colors, heat set, then went over using "black soot".  I added a light wash of black then, heat set, then went back over adding more black to intensify the colors.  I next set aside panel to dry and die cut word "you" several times using Neenah solar white.  Next, I stamped sentiment on a scrap piece of SSS black cardstock, white heat embossed and trimmed.  To finish, I added flicks of white gouache and perfect pearls to add interest to the "galaxy" BG, stacked word die, assembled and adhered elements to card base, then added sequins.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!
