Wishing You a Dandy Day

Wishing you a Dandy Day!

Hello Friends and welcome!  Today’s card features this super cute set from Lawn Fawn (Dandy Day), Copic coloring, and Ink Smooshing using Distress Inks (twisted citron, mowed lawn, crushed olive, salty ocean, and mermaid lagoon).  To start, I took 2 trimmed pieces of Tim Holtz Distress watercolor paper and “ink smooshed” Distress Ink onto the panels using a scrap piece of clear acetate, drying between the layers of ink.  Next, I stamped, die cut, and Copic colored images.  I then die cut the “sky” panel using a stitched panel, then die cut the grassy hillside using Lawn Fawn’s grassy hillsides borders.  To finish, I assembled elements, stamped sentiment, and adhered elements to the card base.  To add a little more detail, I applied a little glitter to the center of the dandelions using Lawn Fawn’s glitter pen.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Best Wish Flowers

Best Wish Flowers...

Hello and welcome!  Today’s card features this lovely stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio (Hanging Garden) and Ink Blending using Pink Fresh Studio Inks.  To start, I trimmed a piece of Neenah solar white cardstock then placed stencil over cardstock and ink blended each stencil using a different color of ink for each one.  These stencils are super easy to use (each one is numbered) and the Inks just glade across the paper...so fun and so pretty!  Once the panel was fully stenciled with the florals, I placed SimonSaysStamp grid stencil on to panel and ink blended starting from the lower right corner blending up and towards the middle, fading out as I went over.  I then die cut panel using a stitched rectangle the next Die Cut the sentiment using Pinkfresh Studio classic word die set.  To finish, I assembled elements and adhered to card base, then added a few PrettyPinkPosh jewels.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Flowers for Mom

Flowers for Mom…
Hello and welcome!  Today’s card features this beautiful floral set from SimonSaysStamp (Best Friend Ever) and watercoloring using Daniel Smith watercolors.  To start, I stamped floral image using Distress Ink antique linen onto a piece of Arches cold press watercolor paper.  Once taped to a piece of hardboard, I began watercoloring image by first using a light wash of color and water, then going back over layer by later adding color and intensifying shadows.  Once dry, I then die cut panel using a stitched rectangle panel then ink splattered BG using a mix of Daniel Smith watercolors and perfect pearls.  To finish, I stamped sentiment, trimmed, assembled elements and adhered to card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by…take care!  Please note: this card has been submitted to the current SimonSaysStamp Flickr Challenge #174
