Flowers for Mom…
Hello and welcome! Today’s card features this beautiful floral set from SimonSaysStamp (Best Friend Ever) and watercoloring using Daniel Smith watercolors. To start, I stamped floral image using Distress Ink antique linen onto a piece of Arches cold press watercolor paper. Once taped to a piece of hardboard, I began watercoloring image by first using a light wash of color and water, then going back over layer by later adding color and intensifying shadows. Once dry, I then die cut panel using a stitched rectangle panel then ink splattered BG using a mix of Daniel Smith watercolors and perfect pearls. To finish, I stamped sentiment, trimmed, assembled elements and adhered to card base. Thanks so much for stopping by…take care!
