Bonjour Friends

Bonjour Friends...

Hello and welcome!  Today’s card features this cute and cheerful set from Lawn Fawn (Gleeful Gardens), Copic coloring, and Ink Blending using Distress Oxide Inks (blueprint sketch, shaded lilac, and lucky clover).  To start, I ink blended a piece of Neenah solar white cardstock using blueprint sketch and shaded lilac Distress Oxide Inks then die cut panel using a stitched rectangle die.  Next, I stamped images, die cut using coordinating die, and Copic colored.  I then die cut Lawn Fawn grassy border and grassy hillsides from cilantro cardstock.  To add a little interest to the BG, I ink splattered using white gouache, blueprint, and shaded lilac.  To finish, I assembled elements, stamped sentiment, and adhered to card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!  Please note: this card has been submitted to the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog #99

Hero Moms

Hero Moms...
Hello Friends and welcome!  Today’s card features this lovely Tulip BG stamp from SimonSaysStamp (Tulip Background) and watercoloring using Karin Markers.  To start, I stamped Tulip BG onto a piece of Strathmore watercolor paper then heat embossed using SimonSaysStamp Antique Gold embossing powder.  Next, I began watercoloring using Karin Markers.  I first added the color then went over with a light wash of water, then going back over intensifying colors and shadows.  Next, I die cut SimonSaysStamp “mom” word die from both SimonSaysStamp black cardstock and Neenah solar white cardstock.  Once Tulip BG panel was dry, I die cut using circle stackables, then die cut a circle from Vellum, and finally die cut a stitched rectangle from woodgrain cardstock.  To finish, I stamped the remaining sentiment using SimonSaysStamp tiny words, white heat embossed, assembled elements and adhered to card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!  Please note: this card has been submitted to the current SimonSaysStamp Flickr Challenge #173

You are Amazing

You are Amazing...
Hello and welcome!  Today’s card features this lovely floral die from SimonSaysStamp (Flower Cluster) and Ink Blending using Distress Inks (abandoned coral, fossilized amber, twisted citron, mowed lawn, and peacock feathers).  To start, I die the floral image from a piece of Neenah solar white cardstock.  I ink blended image using the above mentioned inks and Picket Fence life changing detail brushes.  This image is a bit delicate and the detailed brushes were able to get into the “nooks” allowing the colors to blend and without having the whole image inked in one color.  I next, die cut a wonky stitched rectangle panel also from Neenah solar white and ink blended starting from the bottom left blending towards to top right.  To add a little more detail, I applied Inkon3 liquid pixie dust over the entire floral image and also ink splattered BG panel using white gouache and Perfect Pearls solution.  To finish, I stamped sentiment, white heat embossed, trimmed, then assembled elements and adhered to card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!
