Sunflower Thank You...
Hello...Hope everyone had a wonderful Wednesday!  Today's card features some basic ink blending using Tim Holtz distress ink in mustard seed, Copic coloring, and an adorable stamp set from Lawn Fawn "Our Friendship Grows".  I first began by trimming a piece of Neenah solar white #110 and masked "strips" for background panel then ink blended using round ink blending tool.  Set aside panel to dry and then stamped, die cut, and Copic colored images.  I then die cut rectangles using Lawn Fawn small stitched rectangles and adhered images and rectangle to card base; using fun foam to add dimension to "sunflower".  To add a little sparkle, I coated the "sunflower" with Wink of Stella in clear.  Lastly, I stamped sentiment, die cut heart, and heat embossed heart using Ranger red embossing powder (adding foam tape as well).  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Glitter Cupcake...
Hello!  Today's card features fun products from MFT's and Tim Holtz.  I must admit, I colored this image awhile back, set it aside because at the time I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with it.  I began by inking up this "confetti background stamp" from MFT's using Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry distress inks.  I next spritzed Perfect Pearls over stamp using a mini mister, then stamped onto Tim Holtz distress what color paper.  Having already colored cupcake (colored using Faber-Castell pencils and Gamsol), I chose to MFT's glitter glaze to mimic frosting and a coat glossy accents to "flame" to help add a little pizazz to this image (Tim Holtz blueprint sketches).  To finish card, I stamped sentiment ( SSS "birthday sayings") using Versamark ink then heat setting using Hero Arts white embossing powder.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

A Friends Birthday...
Hello!  Today's card features some fun products from MFT's, a new SSS "Stamptember" stamp, (hello friends), some masking, and quick Copic coloring.   I first die cut square out of X-press it blending card, stamped several flowers then masked those to stamp others, giving the illusion of depth.  I then Copic colored these cuties, stamped sentiment, and added a clear coat of Wink of Stella and glossy accents.  I then set this panel aside to dry, and die cut rectangle panel.  Next, stamped pinstripe background stamp (MFT's) using the same ink as the sentiment (MFT's hybrid ink in wild cherry).  Lastly, I assembled these elements to the card base, adding fun foam to square panel, and added sequins.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Happy Fall...
Hello...happy Friday friends!!  Today's card features a fun background stamp from SimonSaysStamp, die cut leaves from Lawn Fawn, watercoloring using Distress inks, and a little glitter from Elizabeth Craft designs.  I began by stamping "grid" stamp onto a piece of Distress watercolor paper then heat embossing.  I added a touch of water to each "grid" then
picked up distress inks from craft sheet and adding color to each "grid".  Once complete, I set aside to dry and began die cutting leaves using a scrap sheet of double sided adhesive.  This makes using glitter an ease (and a lot messy too).  To finish the card, I added a bit of hemp twine (thick) to watercolor panel, adhered leaves on top, stamped and heat embossed sentiment, and added sequins.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Nuts about You...
Hello, hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!  Today's card features another adorable stamp set "("cute critters") from MFT's among other goodies including their "woodgrain" background stamp.  To begin, I applied various distress inks (peeled paint, mustard seed, rusty hinge) to background stamp then spritzed a healthy coating of Perfect Pearls (really hard to photograph but beautiful in real life), then stamped onto a piece of Tim Holtz distress water color paper.  I set that aside to dry then stamped image and Copic colored.  Highlighted the squirrels tail with a white gel pen and added a coat glossy accents to flower.  To ground the squirrel, I wanted him to sit on a log of some sort but didn't want to add to much, I wanted the background to stand out as much as possible so I drew a log for him to sit on, then Copic colored that as well.  I then die cut stitched rounded rectangle (MFT's die-namics), stamped sentiment.  I chose to heat emboss "nuts" to help add a little more interest as well as adding glitter to the die cut heart.  To finish the card, I adhered everything to card base using liquid adhesive except the squirrel which I chose to use foam tape for a little dimension.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!
