Hoppy Fathers Day...
Hello friends and welcome!  Today’s card features this absolutely adorable set from Lawn Fawn (Toadally Awesome), Copic coloring, and Ink Smooshing using Distress Inks (mermaid lagoon, salty ocean, tumbled glass, and cracked pistachio).  To start, I die cut a scalloped rectangle (Lawn Fawn) from both Distress watercolor paper and MFT’s lush lagoon cardstock.  I then ink smooshed Distress Inks onto the watercolor panel, drying each layer of color.  I then stamped, die cut, and Copic colored images.  To finish, I assembled elements, stamped sentiment and white heat embossed, then adhered elements to card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

Watercolor Flower Garden...
Hello and welcome friends!  Today’s card features this lovely flower stamp set from Stampers Anonymous (Flower Garden) and watercoloring using Prima Marketing Oil Pastel Crayons.  To start, I die cut a stitched rectangle panel from Canson XL watercolor paper, then stamped, and white heat embossed images.  Next, I chose several crayons from the oil pastel set and dipped the tip of each color into a clean water, then slightly scribbled them onto a craft sheet.  I then picked up the color from the mat using a damp water color brush and began watercolor coloring image.  I first went over image using a light wash of color then went back over intensifying the color and adding depth/shadows.  Once the watercoloring was complete, I set panel aside to dry and began working on the sentiment.  I stamped sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) onto a piece of SimonSaysStamp black cardstock then white heat embossed, then trimmed.  To finish, I assembled elements and adhered to card base, adding Studio Katia iridescent bubbles to panel.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!

You are Delightful...
Hello and welcome!  Today’s card features this lovely floral stamp set from Concord and 9th (Brushed Bloom) and watercoloring using Tombow Dual Brush markers.  To start, I inked floral images by directly applying the brush to the stamp, stamped the image onto a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper then lightly going over with a damp brush, pulling the color to the edges of the stamped image.  Using a stamp positioner such as a Misti greatly helped this step.  By using the Misti, I was able to apply the markers and stamp several times to achieve the amount of color/look I was hoping for.  Once all stamping was complete, I lightly added a wash of blue ink (Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass) to add interest to the panel.  To finish, I die cut panel using Lawn Fawn Zig-Zag rectangles, stamped sentiment and heat embossed using Ranger/Wendy Vecchi Tiger Lily embossing powder, then added a few Pretty Pink Posh gold sequins.  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!
