Peony Background...
Hello!! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! The weather has been beautiful here in the northeast! Today's card features this beautiful background stamp from Hero Arts and a bit of watercoloring using Distress inks. To begin, I stamped BG stamp then gold heat embossed onto a piece of watercolor paper. I then began watercoloring these peonies using a waterbrush and Distress inks. Next, I die cut scalloped rectangle around panel. To finish, I die cut "you" sentiment from cardstock, stamped "thank" onto a piece of cardstock, then heat embossed. Assembled elements, adhered panel to card base using fun foam, adhered sentiments, and added sequins. Wishing everyone a great start to the week, thanks so much for stopping by...take care! Please note: this card has been submitted to the current SimonSaysStamp Wednesday Challenge blog.
