Flying with Friends...
Hello and welcome! Today's card this adorable stamp set from Penny Black (Spooky Halloween), ink blending using Distress inks (mowed lawn, seedless preserves, chipped sapphire, black soot, squeezed lemonade, and mustard seed), and Copic coloring. To start, I masked circle onto a die cut piece of Neenah solar white then ink blended sky/ground. Next, I used the positive masked to ink blend moon. Next, I stamped, fussy cut, and Copic colored images. To finish, I wanted to add some details to the moon but didn't want to be too distracting from these cute images so I stamped several circles using Distress ink in pumice stone and hickory smoke. To finish, I adhered images to card base using foam tabs to broom, stamped sentiment, and heat embossed. Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Watercolored Thoughts...
Hello friends... Happy Friday Eve! Today's card features these lovelies from Stampers Anonymous (Flower Garden) and watercoloring using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. To start, I stamped images onto a die cut stitched rectangle panel using Stratmore Bristol paper, then heat embossed using Ranger gold embossing powder. Next, I added color to each flower, then went over using a wet brush to move/mix color. To help add a little interest, I added "sky" by watercoloring using Distress ink in "tumbled glass". To finish, I stamped sentiment, heat embossed, and adhered to card base using fun foam. Shellebrate...
Hello friends and welcome! Recently I received the most kind and generous happy mail!, included was this cutie from The Greeting Farm (stamp: Trishell) and my first thought was "Wow!", "She's beautiful!". I could hardly wait to ink her up!! To start, I stamped image onto a rounded stitched rectangle panel out of Canson XL watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx black pigment ink then heat embossed using Hero Art clear embossing powder. Using Prima color confections watercolor pencils (basic) I began coloring her then applied wet brush to each color, allowing the color to dry almost completely before moving to the next. I then set aside panel to dry then began working on the background. For the background I utilized MFT's wave stencil and distress inks (mermaid lagoon and blueprint sketch). I blended the distress inks over stencil onto a stitched rectangle panel using Neenah solar white cardstock #110. I then added small water droplets. Next, I added a bit of interest to "Trishell" by stamping bubble images using the same Distress inks as mentioned above. To finish, I adhered background to SSS black cardstock, stamped and heat embossed sentiment, and adhered rounded panel using fun foam. Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!
