Coffee Celebrations...
Hello friends and welcome!  Today's card features this fun die cut from SimonSaysStamp (coffee cup craft die) and watercoloring using Distress Inks (shaded lilac, wilted violet, spun sugar, picked raspberry, dried marigold, ripe persimmon, squeezed lemonade, mustard seed, twisted citron, mowed lawn, cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, tumbled glass, and salty ocean).  To start, I die cut a stitched rectangle panel using Neenah solar white, then laid out my steel coffee cup die to estimate how many would fit on the panel, then die cut several coffee cups (7).  Next, I watercolored each cup going from light to dark, adding a light wash of water/color to each cup.  I then spritzed a light spray of water to add a little interest to the cups.  Next, I stamped sentiment, using Verafine Onyx black pigment ink then heat embossed using Hero Arts clear embossing powder.  To finish, I assembled elements, adhered cups then trimmed excess of the sides, splattered gold Gansai Tambi watercolor, adhered gold twine, sentiment using foam tape, and added sequins from Lucy's Little Things (copper kettle mix).  Thanks so much for stopping by... take care!  Please note this card has been submitted to the current SimonSaysStamp Wednesday Challenge blog.
