Holiday Gift Exchange...
Hello and welcome!  Today's craft project was inspired by the super talented Melania Deasy (MFT's designer).  She showcased these adorable "yeti's" created by MFT's Birdie Brown stamp line, and I instantly fell in love and thought they would make the perfect gift!  To start, I die cut and assembled the tags (MFT's blueprints).  I used both red and green cardstock as well as red and green patterned paper.  Next, I stamped images, die cut, and Copic colored.  Next, I die cut labels/flags using same cardstock, stamped sentiment, and heat embossed.  To finish, I assembled shaker packages containing lottery tickets, then used twine to tie both tag and shaker pockets together.  These make great gifts and are super fun to make!  Happy Holidays!!...thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Little and Merry...
Hello and welcome!  Today's card features a pretty holiday stamp set from Memory Box and ink blending using Distress inks (iced spruce, evergreen bough, and tattered rose).  To start, I die cut a stitched rectangle panel and a scalloped border from Neenah solar white.  I then ink blended rectangle panel then applied embossing paste across a Simon Says Stamp diagonal stencil and set aside to dry.  Once both panels were dry, I stamped images and sentiment using Memento dye ink in Northern Pine.  I finished card by adding crystal clear sequins from Simon Says Stamp and detail to the trees using a white gel pen.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!

Holiday Happiness...
Hello and welcome!  Today's card features a bit of watercoloring using Daniel Smith watercolors and sentiment stamp from Penny Black.  Honestly, I can't remember who manufactured the holly stamp, it's a wooden block stamp I picked up ages ago but thought it would make for a chance to practice my watercoloring skills.  To start, I die cut circle using Canson XL watercolor psort, stamped image, then heat embossed using SimonSaysStamp ultra fine antique gold embossing powder.  I began watercoloring image using a light wash of color then going back in to add depth of color and shadows.  Next, I die cut circle frame using MFT's die cut and Summer Splash cardstock. To finish, I die cut stitched panel using MFT's gingham patterned paper, assembled and adhered elements, stamped sentiment, heat embossed using above mentioned embossing powder.  Thanks so much for stopping by...take care!
